- No account, no login โ core scoring and history work offline.
Key features

- iPhone live scoreboard โ mirrors the watch in real time over Apple's WatchConnectivity.

- Statistics & coaching insights โ serve, return, break points, winners/errors, pressure points, rally depth, and an interactive points graph.
- Optional fitness tracking โ link a HealthKit workout for live heart rate, calories, steps, distance, and heart-rate-zone stats. Entirely optional.
- Optional Court Compass โ "Check Changeover" reads the watch's compass heading (no GPS, no location tracking) to show which end to take.
Troubleshooting
Spoken announcements aren't playing
- Turn on Announce scores aloud in the iPhone app's Settings.
- Keep the iPhone app open on screen during the match โ announcements are foreground-only and pause when the phone is locked or the app is backgrounded.
- Check the phone isn't on silent/low volume, and that the right Bluetooth speaker is connected.
The watch and iPhone aren't in sync
- Make sure both devices are paired and the DeuceMate iPhone app is installed.
- Open the iPhone app's Settings โ sync diagnostics and tap Sync Now or Ping Watch.
- Keep both devices nearby and unlocked while a live match is in progress.
Match state was lost
- DeuceMate auto-saves an in-progress match when the app is backgrounded โ reopen it to restore.
- If the watch storage is full, the save may have failed.
Migrating to a new device
An Apple device backup or DeuceMate's automatic iCloud Drive restore brings back your matches, scores, and non-health statistics. Recorded heart rate, steps, distance, and calories are kept in backup-excluded local storage and are not included in either automatic restore path.
Before switching iPhones, open Settings โ Backup & Transfer โ Export Match Archive. On the new iPhone, choose Import Match Archive. This manual file is the explicit, user-controlled full-fidelity transfer and may include those fitness metrics; you choose where to save or send it.
This design follows four principles: Health-data compliance; device-local fitness data by design; a useful but partial automatic restore for scores and non-health stats; and manual export as the user-initiated migration carrier.
Frequently asked questions
Does DeuceMate work offline?
Is my match data synced to the cloud?
Is there an iPhone app?
Can I review past matches?
Can I back up or move my match history to a file?
- Merge keeps your current matches and adds the ones from the file. If a match is in both, it keeps the more complete copy โ so you won't lose health data or finished results โ and brings back any match you'd previously deleted if it's in the file.
- Replace swaps your iPhone archive for exactly what's in the file. Matches not in the file are removed from the iPhone (though any still on your Apple Watch can sync back), so the app asks you to confirm first.
Can I share a match with someone who doesn't have DeuceMate?
.html file. It opens in any web browser โ on a phone, tablet, or computer โ with the momentum chart, the full you-vs-opponent stats (with Stats/Points tabs and per-set filters), a point-by-point list, and a built-in AI-coach launcher. The file works completely offline and uploads nothing; you choose who to send it to. (If a file preview can't run scripts โ like the iPhone's Quick Look โ it still shows a full static report; open it in a browser for the interactive version.)Does it work for doubles?
Can I use it for padel?
