How to play
Move around the board buying property. Charge rent to anyone who lands on it. The last player who isn't bankrupt wins. In a timed game, the richest player when time runs out wins.
Your turn
Roll two dice and move. Rolling doubles gives you another roll, but three doubles in a row sends you to Lockup.
Collect $180 each time you pass or land on Payday.
Land on an unowned property to buy it at its printed price. If you don't buy it, it goes to auction and anyone can bid, including you.
Land on someone else's property and you pay them rent. Mortgaged properties charge no rent.
Fortune and Civic Fund spaces draw a card. Taxes are paid to the bank, or into the middle if the Town Green jackpot is on.
Rent
Owning every street in a colour group doubles the basic rent on that group's empty streets, and lets you build there.
Stations charge $30, $60, $110 or $180, depending on how many stations the owner holds.
Utilities charge 5× the dice roll, or 12× if the owner holds both.
Building
Tap any street to open its deed. With a whole unmortgaged group, you can build houses on it. Build evenly: a street can't get its next house until every street in the group has the same number.
Four houses become a hotel. The bank has only 36 houses and 14 hotels.
Sell buildings back for half price. Mortgage an undeveloped property for half its price, and pay that back plus 10% to unmortgage it.
Lockup
You're held in Lockup if you land on Sent to Lockup, draw a card that sends you there, or roll three doubles in a row. Landing on Lockup by a normal roll means you're just visiting.
To get out, pay $60 before rolling, use a Bail Pass, or roll doubles. After three failed tries, you pay $60 and move.
Trades, debt and bankruptcy
On your turn, tap Trade to offer properties and cash to another player. Computer players judge each offer on its value to them. They may also send offers to you.
If you owe more than you have, sell buildings or mortgage property until you can pay. If you still can't pay, you go bankrupt. Your assets go to the player you owe, or back to the bank.
Computer players
Easy computers buy almost anything and never trade. Normal computers keep a cash cushion and trade to finish colour groups. Hard computers also build aggressively and drive harder bargains.
Use the speed buttons during their turns to change how fast they play.
Controls
Tap or click a space to see its deed. Keyboard: R roll, B buy, A auction, E end turn, T trade, P properties, Esc close. The game saves on this device after every move.
