A connected group is captured when it has no adjacent empty intersections, called liberties.
You cannot play a suicidal move or recreate an earlier board position.
Pass when no useful move remains. Two consecutive passes end the game.
Area scoring counts your stones and surrounded territory. White receives 6.5 komi.
